How to Force an Ad to Come Down on Ending Date Regardless of Impressions

Most of the time you want a direct ad you've sold to serve 100% of the promised impressions. This quick article is for the times you don't. In other words, we realize that sometimes you just need the ad to come down on the end date, even if there are still impressions remaining. Fortunately, there is a simple way to make this happen.

Here's how:

  1. Navigate to the ad in question. Note, there are multiple ways to get to an individual ad details page, but typically the quickest is through the Campaigns dashboard ( Once there, click on the row of the campaign in question, then click the ad you want to update.

  2. You'll now be on the ad details page. Up on the top right hand corner click, "Ad Settings".

  3. Toggle open the dropdown under "QUANTITY" and tick the checkbox next to, "Take ad down upon ending date even if not fulfilled?

  4. Now you can simply close the modal and your settings will be saved

That's it. Now this ad will stop on the end date no matter what.
